As I discussed in a post last month, I have recently been delving deep into Gretchen Rubin’s “The Happiness Project”. I actually started with “Happier at Home” but backtracked to the original project. As I started working through this… alone, I realized that it would be more fun in a group.
As Gretchen explains: “The core of a “happiness project” is to identify elements of your life that you want to change. To find concrete, measurable resolutions that, if kept, will help you bring about that change hold yourself accountable for keeping your resolutions decide whether you want to adjust, toss, or re-commit to a resolution. “
I use the term “resolution” but not in the sense of New Year Resolutions that do not get kept, but instead as you resolve to change something in your life to make 2018 the best year yet! A goal is something you achieve, a resolution is something that is ongoing.
So I will ask… again. What about you? Will your life be dramatically different 1 year from now, or will it look pretty much the same as it did last year? How about 5 years from now? My vision is a simple vision on contentment, living life on my terms.
